Teacher Excellence
“Kihkayak” – Brent Stonefish and
Bruce Stonefish have agreed to be volunteer “Kihkayak”. These senior
administrators are responsible for the day-day administration and operations of
our private school including financials, human resources, and program
development.
‘Njoosak’ – This is a circle of
advisors (friends) who are educational leaders and/or elders that may be called
upon to assist in program development. Some possible Njoosak:
● Teachers
● School Administrators
● Elders
● Language Instructors

“Akehkiingeew” – Our programming will
be a collaborated responsibility of a variety of teachers from a full-time OCT
Lead Teacher to other, a Homeschool Consultant, visiting teachers and teachers
from the community.
● Lead Teacher -Language Program – We
are presently searching for a Lead Teacher to oversee the composition, progress
and educational assessment of all of our students Individualized Education
Plans as well as collaborate with all other ‘Guest teachers’ that may teach in
any of our programs.
● Homeschool Consultant – We are pleased to
say that we have recruited Esperanza Garcia Gailliard of Nish Home School to
collaborate with our Lead Teacher to deliver our Independent Learning Program
to students.
● Guest Teachers – These teachers will be experts asked to teach in their field of
expertise in language, culture, history or environmental education. These Guest Teachers may come from our
community or invited from other communities.
